Martin Green is the owner of Down Farm, Sixpenny Handley SP5 5RY. He will show us around and it will probably take 2-3 hours. I can confirm this and parking etc nearer the time. The Farm has been in conservation schemes since 1988. 4 ponds, re-wilded area, 2ha wood, hedgerow and shrub plantings created during that time Former excavation sites have developed their own specific species rich habitats which are monitored) Over 3 consecutive years 36 species of butterfly recorded, 147 species of bird, 22 species of dragonfly.
