Salisbury & District Natural History Society

A survey of fungi in this lovely mixed woodland retreat near Farley, as part of their Autumn Conservation Weekend.  Approx. 2 hours surveying, plus time afterwards to display findings and review identifications.  Bring snacks/lunch as desired; compost toilets are available in the wood.  There are likely to be Deer Ticks in the wood at this time of year, so wear appropriate protective clothing (trousers tucked into socks advised rather than shorts).  Please contact James (details below) if planning to attend; note that owing to limited parking on the site, we have been asked to bring a maximum of 5 cars - so please consider lift-sharing.  See the Hazel Hill Wood website for location details.
