Broken Bridges BioBlitz.
Saturday 04 July 2026
10:00 to 15:00
Who doesn’t love a BioBlitz? Join the crew at Broken Bridges Nature Reserve to help spot
as many different species as we can in 5 hours. Both a fun event and a real scientific
exercise, everything we see will be documented and recorded in wildlife databases to guide
future management of the reserve. Meet at the footbridge near the middle of the main
footpath: what3words ///doll.hints.cattle. Path narrow in places and may be muddy or wet
underfoot; no toilet facilities. Bring food/refreshments as required. Parking limited to
residential streets at either end of the path; nearest bus stops are St George’s Road (R5,
Harnham end) and Cecil Terrace (R8, Bemerton end).
This event is part of Safer and Supportive Salisbury's Breathing Spaces programme.
