Photographic Competition
The photographic competition is now ready to receive your entries, with the end deadline for entries being the 18th of November (enabling a final reminder at the AGM the day before!). This competition is open to SDNHS members only.
All the photos that have been entered will then be displayed on the society’s website under each category, from the 19th November, and members will be able to vote for their favourite in each category. Please do not vote for your own entries. The closing date for voting will be the 14th December. The link to the competition website voting page will be displayed in the November bulletin.
The top three photos in each category, collecting the most votes, will then be displayed at the Members evening on the 18th December. There will be a prize for the photo with the most votes in each category. The photo with the most overall votes will be declared the winner of the competition and will receive a further prize! In the case of any draw, then a professional photographer, who is not participating in the competition, will choose the winner.
A Bradbeer's voucher for £10 will be awarded to each category winner, whilst the overall winner of the photographic competition will receive a £50 Bradbeer voucher, alongside the £10 Bradbeer voucher from the category prize.
